The Purpose Statement
(Chapter Six)
A Life Purpose can be encapsulated in a Statement of Purpose. Such a statement should be simple, realistic, optimistic, and open-ended. It should also align with the characteristics of the universe and of one's own abilities and talents. A good statement should have a preamble, a focus, positive actions verbs, positive adjectives, a subject and a possible result. The following is a possible example:
For my career, I will be a spokesperson for environmental issues and help people learn how to be more environmentally conscious in their daily lives.
