Chapter Two

Notes from "A Purpose Derived Life"

Chapter Two begins with a continuation of the story of the knight and the maiden. The knight attacks the dragon but does not kill it and must decide what to do next. In a sense, he must decide upon his purpose. Should he kill the beast? The maiden tells him he should not.

The focus of Chapter Two will be on the search for a Life Purpose. I introduce four arenas from where we can hope to find answers: the self, other people, a deity, and nature and the universe. Each of these will be explored. The main focus of the chapter will be to learn on how to depend on yourself to make decisions about your own life.
